End of Day 1

The last flight for Day One of the Fall 2010 Phil Schacht Aerobatic competition has drawn to a close. The Piper Pawnee has been put to sleep for the night and aircraft are being tied down, chalked up and hangared away. Even the boundary judges have been retrieved from there far away posts and allowed to mingle with the rest of the crowd. (Much to Lindsey's thrill since Ponso and her played chicken on the runway with the K-21)  As the day draws to a close we forget about Aresties and altitudes and we take time to enjoy the company of those around and begin the long-time tradition of hangar flying. Everyone has a unique (and sometimes wild) story to tell and a lesson to be learned. Cockpits are traded for ez-chairs and the food has been laid out for the traditional banquet. Before I reveal the scores of today I must say how outstanding everyone has performed both in the air and on the ground. Without key players such as Charlie and Ben as well as all of our judges (especially Randy!) as well as our airport security detail (Inari and Sasha) this day wouldn't have happened. A special thanks to all our pilots as well!

Well here is what everyone has been waiting for...Day 1 Scores!!!
